The SRD programme general objective is to realize the potential of sustainable rural tourism to improve the competitiveness of agriculture and to diversify the rural economy and enhance the capacities of the relevant stakeholders in rural development.
The program will contribute to promotion of employment in the agricultural sector and non-agricultural activities in rural areas by focusing on the principles and instruments of the EU’s common agricultural policy for rural development.
