The Adrion Logistics Cluster will strengthen innovation, sustainability and cross-border cooperation in the ADRION logistics sector

The Adrion Logistics Cluster marks an important step towards strengthening cooperation and innovation across the Adriatic–Ionian region. It brings together research institutions, public authorities, logistics associations, business support organisations, and other key stakeholders to create lasting cooperation across the logistics value chain.

The Adrion Logistics Cluster provides a long-term framework for collaboration, enabling organisations across the ADRION region to exchange knowledge, develop joint initiatives, and address common challenges in the logistics sector. By connecting expertise from different countries and sectors, it will contribute to building a more innovative, sustainable, and competitive logistics ecosystem.

The Adrion Logistics Cluster will provide valuable opportunities for:

  • Supporting innovation and the digital transformation of logistics services.
  • Promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics solutions.
  • Encouraging cross-border cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and good practices.
  • Strengthening the internationalisation and competitiveness of logistics SMEs.
  • Creating new networking opportunities among businesses, research organisations, and public authorities across the ADRION region.

The Kick-off Assembly of the Adrion Logistics Cluster took place on 18 March 2026 in Bari, Italy, hosted by Airports of Puglia. The collaboration will continue with the next Adrion Logistics Cluster meeting, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Albania in Tirana, where Cluster members will further strengthen cooperation and explore new joint initiatives across the ADRION region.

The Adrion Logistics Cluster represents a lasting legacy of the INTERCLUSTER project, laying the foundations for continued cooperation that will support innovation, sustainability, and economic development throughout the Adriatic–Ionian region.

The INTERCLUSTER project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA ADRION Programme.
