On Monday 10/02/2025 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia organized an online Transnational Workshop in order to discuss and assess any existing smart & sustainable clustering models that could fit to the Adrion Area to boost collaboration and building bridges across different ecosystems.
In the workshop participated project partners and stakeholders from participating countries relative to logistic sector, as national authorities, associations of transports, research institutions and chambers of commerce. They discussed critical topics such as challenges and weaknesses of previous clustering initiatives, success and failure factors, a proposed model for a Smart & Sustainable Macro-regional Cluster in the Adrion area and potential collaboration domains.
The finding of this workshop will directly contribute to the development of a Strategy and Action Plan for the Adrion macro-regional logistics cluster that will foster SME growth, modernization, and green and digital transition of the sector.
The INTERCLUSTER project aims to promote and test innovative solutions for improving sustainability, innovation, and internationalization in the logistics sector within the ADRION region. By fostering cooperation between stakeholders from Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Albania, the project seeks to develop a smart and sustainable macro-regional logistics cluster that supports the green and digital transformation of the sector, introduces innovative policy instruments, and enhances the development of supply chains, strengthening the integration of logistics systems between EU and Western Balkan countries.
INTERCLUSTER project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA ADRION Programme.
