The intervention aims to create a small-scale successful model of a ‘Living Tradition Community’ that can be promoted and replicated. The model will involve a value chain approach, to develop better integrated and sustainable “local” value chains by enabling individual producers of handicrafts and local produce to improve their skills and products and linking these to more profitable markets.
The Living Tradition Community combined craft, youth, art, tradition and business community, through a value chain development approach in the craft sector in the Alps region, Tropoja, to break the marginalizing cycle of unemployment, poverty and emigration for the target group.
