In the framework of the project “Boosting the skills of low-performance teenagers for their integration in Vocational Education and employment”, with contract number ALB/PCA/202233/PD202245, organized within the program “QENDRO” supported by UNICEF, financed by the Italian government , Center for Competitiveness ( English: Center for Competitive Skills ) , announces a job announcement in the position:
EXPERT/COORDINATOR FOR THE PSYCHOLOGY COMPONENT
Job position: Expert/Coordinator for the psychology component to represent CCS in schools and activities, focusing on the coordination and management of project activities and psychological support of students. The expert will work closely with the project manager and other project staff to ensure the successful implementation of activities related to coordination and management.
The expert will be responsible for the following:
Participates in activities according to the plan agreed in advance with the project manager;
Collects attendance lists of participating students, parental permits, student transport reimbursement forms , ensures completion of attendance lists by teachers participating in activities , etc. ;
Submits to the general coordinator of the project all the documentation collected during the activity at its end, or at most two days after the end of the activity;
Coordinates with the project staff for the logistical aspects of the activities (food, transportation, materials)
Supervises the progress of the activities in which he participates;
It ensures the meticulous follow-up of the project, the modules according to the program by the teachers in the schools, as well as ensures the general quality of the activities in which it participates;
Serves as a backstopper and support for teachers during activities in and outside the school;
Prepares materials and develops/ moderates different modules, with a focus on psychological support for young people, games and focus groups with students;
Brings feedback on the progress of activities after each activity and prepares reports according to project requirements;
Ensures students’ involvement in activities, counseling and psychological support as appropriate;
Ensures the implementation and follow-up of CCS principles and values in the field;
Collaborates with the general project coordinator, management staff, teachers and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the project;
Participates in all trainings and various activities of the project;
The professional criteria of the requested expert (Terms of Reference) are as follows:
Work experience in psychology, education, counseling or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students as well as CCS staff and experts.
Experience working with youth, experience in organizing and implementing educational or youth-focused programs.
Experience in coordination, project management or similar fields.
Good organizational skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Creativity and innovation. The expert must have a creative eye and be able to capture the essence of the project and the children involved.
Flexibility: because the project takes place on the weekend, there should be full availability depending on our needs.
Driving license preferred.
